About Sasto Karja
Borrowing in Nepal is opaque. Rates live in PDFs, premiums change without notice and comparison sites hide the numbers behind a phone call. We publish everything, with dates and sources, and let you apply to the bank you choose.
How we make money
Banks pay us for qualified applications. You never pay. Our ranking is by rate, never by who pays more.
How we source data
Base rates come from each bank's monthly disclosure and NRB. Product premiums come from bank circulars and branch confirmation. Every row shows its effective date, and rows are marked verified only after a second check.
How we rank
Every list on Sasto Karja is sorted the same way, whether or not the bank is a paying partner.
How we rank
Every list on Sasto Karja is sorted the same way, whether or not the bank is a paying partner.
- 1
Lowest effective rate first. Effective rate is the bank’s published base rate plus its product premium for the tenure you chose.
- 2
Ties are broken by processing fee, then by prepayment charge, so the total cost of borrowing wins, not the headline rate.
- 3
A rate must carry an effective date and a source. Rows we could not verify are shown last and labelled as awaiting verification.
- 4
Partner status changes nothing in the order. A paying bank can be first only if it is actually the cheapest.
